Department: Back of House

Reports to: General Manager/Shift Lead


Job Description:

The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning all pots, pans, and cooking equipment.  The Dishwasher is also responsible to keep the restaurant clean and equipment clean and organized.

Essential Functions

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashers and by hand
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition
  • Maintain adequate levels of all cleaning supplies and stock when needed.
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Sort and remove trash
  • Receive and store supplies
  • Other duties as directed


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Ability to work in a high stress, faced-paced environment
  • High personal integrity, professionalism and maturity
  • Excellent communication skills

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand for entire shift
  • Must be able to continuously reach, bend, and stretch
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs


Ideal candidates must have previous hospitality or restaurant experience
